Drawn on July 19, 1813 by 1st Lieutenant Joseph Larwill, a surveyor from Wayne County, Ohio serving with Cushing's Company of the 2nd Regiment of Artillery, this map shows the fort, its elaborate system of earthen traverses, and the locations of five British artillery batteries used during the first siege of Fort Meigs, April 29 - May 9, 1813.
